ESPLERP Chosen as Folsom Beneficiary

San Francisco — Today, the Erotic Service Providers Legal, Education and Research Project (ESPLERP) announced that is proud to be chosen as a 2018 Beneficiary of Folsom Street Events!

The mission of Folsom Street Events is to create world-class leather and fetish events that unite adult alternative lifestyle communities with safe venues for self-expression and exciting entertainment. Their events raise funds to sustain San Francisco-based and national charities.

ESPLERP is seeking people who are interested in volunteering at this year’s Folsom Street Events, to support a right to sexual privacy – whereby consenting adults can enter into private arrangements, which may involve payment, without fear of prosecution. That would allow sex workers who face harassment, assault, theft, rape, or other crimes to get the same justice as any other worker. It would also support Folsom Street Events’ commitment to sexual freedom, diversity, and volunteerism.

We are recruiting for the following Folsom Street Events:

Up Your Alley: 7/27/14, 11am-6pm Folsom Street Fair: 9/21/14, 11am-6pm

If you are interested in volunteering, please email claire.alwyne(at)gmail.com

The Erotic Service Providers Legal, Education and Research Project (ESPLERP) is a diverse community-based coalition advancing sexual privacy rights through litigation, education, and research. Contributions to support the court case can be submitted through our crowd fundraiser – www.litigatetoemancipate.com .
